Hello everyone !Just a doodle while waiting for client's briefing that turned out as a speed painting portrait of an elf in autumn. Done in painter with texturing in Photoshop in around 2 hours and half

not more contrast , but I would prefer clean contours. especially for the leaves that stand out and seem to float. well done with the face and hear.

I'm really happy with how this simple pasttime doodle turned out.
I personnaly like when some parts of a painting are just barelly recognisable, a bit blurry, standing side by side with well defined figures and forms, to enhance the contrast and create focal points, that's why i kept the leaves undefined. And in my mind they are flowing and flying from and around the character.
But you're right about his eyes, Jane, I could have worked them a bit more !!
